After graduating from UTA summa cum laude in French I did not anticipate having difficulty passing my French teacher certification exam however, when I began to look for practice exams I was unable to locate anything that was actually helpful or had any semblance of the new teaching standards. Everything that was on the market was old and outdated. I even studied some practices geared towards the French AP exam but I had concerns. With the certification exam costing as much as it does and with being on a time crunch to find a teaching position immediately I was beyond thrilled when I found Madame Vicente. I decided to do my French teacher certification preparation with her for a month before actually taking the exam. I can honestly say that I owe a huge portion of my passing score to her amazing test preparation expertise. After becoming certified and teaching all levels of French including AP and IB, I continued to meet with her on occasion for her expertise in lesson preparation for my upper level classes. As a linguist she has an approach to teaching and learning that is truly a gift. I have gained so much knowledge and understanding from her experience and I would highly recommend anyone that is looking to improve their language and teaching skills or simply prepare themselves fully for passing their certification to consider a course with her. Not only has she helped me in my career but also with my acceptance into the Masters of French program at UNT so I can’t say enough how grateful I am to have found her and I am certain that many others she has worked with feel the same way. I recommend her without any reservations.

I struggled so hard to pass the oral proficiency test in Texas in Spanish. All I had to do was listen to you tell me to slow down speak slowly and I would be fine. I was and I passed with no trouble and then I taught bilingual education for 16 years. Not only that, but by using your instructions I also got certified to teach Spanish.

Love the 'Spanish Grammar for Independent Learners'! As for the most recent one 'The written accent marks in Spanish', I offered it to my teacher as a gift and now she is using it to teach us.
